Both commercial and open-source EtherCAT masters apply software to achieve the function of master station. To a large extent, the master’s function depends on the performance on PC and the real-time operating system.

Macnica Group recently introduced an industrial camera module to market, by making use of its own advantage, and cooperating with a group of vision image technique experts in the country.

Working with partner, Macnica Group introduced a RF solution based on ADI AD936X and Intel Cyclone V FPGA. It would help to shorten the time to market of customers’ products, and reduce the overall development burden.

The ME10 SoC is Macnica’s full-stack AV over IP system on a chip (SoC) transporting HDMI2.0 4K 4:4:4 video, audio and control data over 1GbE networks in a small 23 x 23 mm BGA package. Interoperability and performance are two themes that run through the ME10’s unique design.

This is a plug-and-play SoC module. Customer would focus on the development of application and custom logic only. Development input is reduced and development cycle is shortened. Macnica Group could provide hardware and FPGA reference logic, Linux driver/ BSP development with the module. Also, provide customized module with the main chip or memory options.
